Hydrogenative Depolymerization of End?of?Life Poly?(Bisphenol A Carbonate) Catalyzed by a Ruthenium?MACHO?Complex.


ABSTRACT: I just need Ru: The depolymerization of end?of?life poly(bisphenol A carbonate) is described. The process bases on the hydrogenation of the carbonate functions of the polymer with a straightforward Ruthenium catalyst to form bisphenol A, the starting material for the reproduction of poly(bisphenol A carbonate), and on the other hand, methanol, a beneficial compound for the hydrogen economy.
