Tissue permeabilization was carried out for 12 minutes</sample_protocol><sample_protocol>Sample Collection - After mouse sacrifice hearts were excised and retrograde perfused with first 5ml Heparin/PBS solution followed by 1ml PBS. Perfused hearts were place in OCT, snap-frozen in pre-cooled isopentane (-30 to -40°C) and stored at -80°C until further use. 10µm thick tissue sections were cut in a cryostat at -20°C chamber temperature and -10°C object head temperature and placed at the 10X Visium Gene Expression slide.</sample_protocol><sample_protocol>Sequencing - Sequencing was performed on a NextSeq 2000 system (Illumina Inc.
