Human hair follicles were treated with vehicle, and 10 µM and 40 µM UK-5099 for 48h ex vivo. RNASeq was performed to determine whether MPC1 inhibition induces transcriptional changes in the hair follicle.</description><repository>biostudies-arrayexpress</repository><sample_protocol>Library Construction - Illumina TruSeq Stranded mRNA kit, according to the manufacturer’s protocol.</sample_protocol><sample_protocol>Growth Protocol - Human hair follicles were cultured in an ex vivo organ culture model as described previously (Purba et al., 2019).</sample_protocol><sample_protocol>Nucleic Acid Extraction - Total RNA was extracted using RNeasy Micro Kit (Qiagen #74004), according to the manufacturer’s protocol. Total RNA was submitted to the University of Manchester Genomic Technologies Core Facility (GTCF).
