With this, we aim to describe the mutational profile of this specific subset of papillary thyroid cancer patients. This knowledge will further allow us to gain an insight into potentially actionable genomic alterations prevalent in Indian papillary thyroid carcinoma.</description><repository>biostudies-arrayexpress</repository><sample_protocol>Sequencing - Sequencing was performed on Illumina Novaseq 6000 platform according to manufacturer's instruction.</sample_protocol><sample_protocol>Sample Collection - 29 orphan tumor samples corresponding to 29 papillary thyroid cancer patients were collected retrospectively from tumor tissue repository at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. The sample collection and study protocols were approved by Institutional Review Board at TMC-ACTREC.</sample_protocol><sample_protocol>Library Construction - Whole exome sequencing libraries have been prepared on 29 DNA samples using Illumina DNA Prep with Enrichment kit.Sequencing was performed on Illumina Novaseq 6000 platform according to standard protocol using 150bp paired end reads.</sample_protocol><sample_protocol>Nucleic Acid Extraction - The 29 orphan tumor samples has been subjected to microtome sectioning wherein ~5-6 10 um sections has been taken based on the tissue abundance for DNA extraction. The DNA extraction from FFPE tissues has been performed according to standard protocol of Qiagen's QIAamp DNA FFPE Tissue Kit (cat. no. 56404). The DNA concentration was measured using Nanodrop 2000c spectrophotometer.</sample_protocol><figure_sub>Organization</figure_sub><figure_sub>MINSEQE Score</figure_sub><figure_sub>Assays and Data</figure_sub><figure_sub>MAGE-TAB Files</figure_sub><pubmed_authors>Amit Dutt</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Whole exome sequencing of papillary thyroid cancer of Indian origin (FFPE samples)</name><description>The study involves whole exome sequencing of 29 FFPE orphan tumors obtained from papillary thyroid carcinoma patients of Indian origin.
