In seven primary cases copy number variation analysis using the OncoScan technology was performed on DNA isolated from the lymphoma. By identifying a primary HGBCL,11q case from Kenya, we demonstrate the presence of this distinct EBV-negative lymphoma entity, which shows overlapping characteristics with Burkitt lymphoma, in regions where the latter is endemic. These findings have diagnostic and clinical implications for lymphoma classification and treatment in sub-Saharan Africa."],"repository":["biostudies-arrayexpress"],"sample_protocol":["Sample Collection - A total of 260 primary lymphomas with histopathologic diagnosis of a mature aggressive B-cell lymphoma diagnosed between 2020 and 2024 were retrieved from the files of Kenyatta National Hospital and reviewed on FFPE sections.
