Morphological characterization and genome annotation showed that phage ASP23 belonged to the &lt;i>Krylovirinae&lt;/i> family genus &lt;i>Phikmvvirus&lt;/i>, and it had a latent period of 10 min and a burst size of 140 pfu/infected cell.
