The present study aimed at deriving regression-based reliable change indices (RCIs) for the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) in an Italian cohort of non-demented Parkinson's disease (PD) patients.<h4>Methods</h4>N = 33 consecutive, non-demented PD patients were followed-up at a 5-to-8-month interval (M = 6.6; SD = 0.6) with the MoCA. Practice effects and test-retest reliability were assessed via dependent-sample t-tests and intra-class correlation (ICC) coefficients, respectively. RCIs were derived separately for raw and demographically adjusted MoCA scores according to a standardized regression-based approach by accounting for both baseline confounders (i.e., demographics, disease duration and Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale scores) and retest interval.<h</pubmed_abstract><journal>BMC neurology</journal><pagination>427</pagination><full_dataset_link>https://www.ebi.ac.uk/biostudies/studies/S-EPMC11533291</full_dataset_link><repository>biostudies-literature</repository><pubmed_title>Reliable change indices for the Italian version of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) in non-demented Parkinson's disease patients.</pubmed_title><pmcid>PMC11533291</pmcid><pubmed_authors>Priori A</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Ticozzi N</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Pravettoni G</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Olivero M</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Morelli C</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Verde F</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Bonetti R</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Curti B</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Maderna L</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Aiello EN</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>De Luca G</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Ciammola A</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Silani V</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Scheveger F</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Solca F</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Barbieri S</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Maranzano A</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Doretti A</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>De Sandi A</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Poletti B</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Torre S</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Ferrucci R</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Marfoli A</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Mellace D</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Colombo E</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Ruggiero F</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable>

<h4>Background</h4>.
