These invasive species coexist with native Tomicus species of Hylurgini and cooperatively infest host trees in China. However, we lack sufficient mitochondrial genome data of Hylurgini to conduct phylogenetic studies, clarify the phylogenetic relationships of the above species, and improve the understanding of niche divergence and common hazards. Here, we sequenced and analyzed the mitochondrial genomes of seven Hylurgini species, including Dendroctonus valens, Hylurgus ligniperda, Hylurgus micklitzi, Tomicus piniperda, Tomicus brevipilosus, Tomicus minor and Tomicus yunnanensis.
