Inflammation is a key factor in cancer progression, necessitating reliable prognostic indicators. The pan-immune-inflammation value (PIV), as a new biomarker of immune-inflammatory response, has emerged as a potential prognostic biomarker for cancers.<h4>Methods</h4>We performed a meta-analysis to evaluate the prognostic significance of PIV in digestive system cancers. Our search, up to June 2024, included 20 studies from 19 articles with 5037 patients.
