Here, we found that sononeoperfusion-a new effect of tumor perfusion enhancement induced by low mechanical index ultrasound stimulated microbubble cavitation (USMC)-ameliorated tumor tissue oxygenation and induced tumor vascular normalization (TVN). This TVN might be associated with the down-regulation of hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) within tumors. Moreover, the sononeoperfusion effect reduced the accumulation of immunosuppressive cells, such as regulatory T cells (Tregs), myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and M2-like tumor-associated macrophages (M2-TAMs), and decreased the production of immune inhibitory </pubmed_abstract><journal>Ultrasonics sonochemistry</journal><pagination>107115</pagination><full_dataset_link>https://www.ebi.ac.uk/biostudies/studies/S-EPMC11635779</full_dataset_link><repository>biostudies-literature</repository><pubmed_title>Alleviating Tumor Hypoxia and Immunosuppression via Sononeoperfusion: A New Ally for potentiating anti-PD-L1 blockade of solid Tumor.</pubmed_title><pmcid>PMC11635779</pmcid><pubmed_authors>Yao L</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zhou M</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Yang G</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Li H</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Yang J</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zhang J</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Dong X</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Li N</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Yang X</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Tang J</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Liu Z</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zhang Y</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Wu Y</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Yin J</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Luo T</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Alleviating Tumor Hypoxia and Immunosuppression via Sononeoperfusion: A New Ally for potentiating anti-PD-L1 blockade of solid Tumor.</name><description>The hypoxic and immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) remains a major obstacle to impede cancer immunotherapy.
