The present study aimed to characterize plasma levels of key biomarkers related to neurodegeneration and neuroinflammation among middle-aged to elderly adults living in areas designated as critically polluted.&lt;h4>Methods&lt;/h4>A total of 202 adults, aged 41 to 60 years, residing in CPA (CEPI > 70) for over ten years were recruited in the study. The exposures of air pollutant were measured as per the established protocols by CPCB.
