Aliphatic sulfonic anhydrides were electrogenerated in up to a 74% yield. Since isolating these moisture-sensitive intermediates is challenging, the in situ-generated sulfonic anhydrides were directly converted into sulfonamides or alkyl sulfonates using amines or alcohols, respectively.
