As the concomitance of AF and HF is often associated with a poor prognosis, the prompt treatment of AF in HF patients may significantly improve outcome.<h4>Methods/design</h4>Recent implantable cardiac resynchronization (CRT) devices allow electrical therapies to treat AF automatically.
