The dpa ligand is not planar, the dihedral angle between the pyridine rings being 20.0 (3)°. The azide ligands are slightly bent [N-N-N = 173.5 (8)-175.1 (8)°]. In the crystal, the complex mol-ecules are connected by N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming a chain along the b axis.
