<HashMap><database>biostudies-literature</database><scores/><additional><omics_type>Unknown</omics_type><volume>68(Pt 6)</volume><submitter>Shokooh Saljooghi A</submitter><pubmed_abstract>The title compound, [Cu(3)(C(7)H(3)NO(4))(4)(C(2)H(8)N(2))(2)]·C(2)H(8)N(2)·4H(2)O, was obtained by the reaction of copper(II) acetate dihydrate with pyridine-2,6-dicarb-oxy-lic acid (H(2)dipic) and ethyl-enediamine (en) in an aqueous solution. All of the Cu(II) atoms in the trinuclear centrosymmetric title complex are six-coordinated in a distorted octa-hedral geometry with N(2)O(4) and N(4)O(2) environments for the outer and central Cu(II) atoms, respectively. Various inter-actions, including numerous O-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C-O⋯π stacking of the pyridine and carboxyl-ate groups [O⋯centroid distances = 3.669 (2) and 3.668 (2) Å] are observed in the crystal structure.</pubmed_abstract><journal>Acta crystallographica.
