The two pyridine rings in L form a dihedral angle of 50.0 (2)°. L ligands bridge adjacent HgCl(2) units into polymeric chains propagating in [010]. The crystal packing is further stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds and π-π inter-actions between the pyridine rings, with a centroid-centroid separation of 3.529 (9) Å."],"journal":["Acta crystallographica.
