Our study aimed at elucidating the interrelationship of these processes in cancers of the uterine cervix in vivo.<h4>Methods</h4>Tumour oxygenation was assessed in 48 squamous cell carcinomas (SCC) of the uterine cervix using polarographic needle electrodes.
