The 1,4-bis-[4-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)benzo-yl]piperazine] ligand is centro-symmetric, with the centroid of the piperazine ring located on an inversion center, and bridges the Zn(II) cations, forming polymeric chains propagating along [201]. In the crystal, O-H⋯O and weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the polymeric chains, nitrate anions and solvent water mol-ecules into a three-dimensional supra-molecular architecture. A short O⋯O contact of 2.823 (13) Å is observed between neighboring nitrate anions."],"journal":["Acta crystallographica.
