After study, the small tracer that belongs to a member of ApoSense family is proved to be capable of imaging merely apoptotic regions in the CTX treated tumor-bearing mice. The experimental result is further confirmed by in vitro cell binding assays and TUNEL staining assay. As a result, (18)F-ML-8 could be used for noninvasive visualization of apoptosis induced by antitumor chemotherapy.</pubmed_abstract><journal>BioMed research international</journal><pubmed_title>Molecular PET Imaging of Cyclophosphamide Induced Apoptosis with 18F-ML-8.</pubmed_title><pmcid>PMC4420799</pmcid><funding_grant_id>2011J5200025</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>2010B031600054</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>81371584</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>320675013203</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>2013B021800264</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>81201116</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>30970856</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>[2010]609</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>11ZCGHHZ00800</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>1563000312</funding_grant_id><pubmed_authors>Nie D</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Tang C</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Sun T</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Yao S</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Hu K</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Yao B</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Jiang S</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Tang G</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Gao S</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Molecular PET Imaging of Cyclophosphamide Induced Apoptosis with 18F-ML-8.</name><description>In this paper, a novel small-molecular apoptotic PET imaging probe, (18)F-ML-8 with a malonate motif structure, is presented and discussed.
