<HashMap><database>biostudies-literature</database><scores/><additional><omics_type>Unknown</omics_type><submitter>Kim YH</submitter><pubmed_abstract>Ashea megacephala, a new Peruvian genus and species is described. The specimens were collected on mushrooms and mushroom-associated trees. This genus can be readily distinguished from the other genera of the subtribe Gyrophaenina by the large head and the three indistinctly articulated labial palpomeres. A key to the known genera of Gyrophaenina is provided.
