Here we report clinical outcomes of Ra-223 treatment in a nonstudy population. In this prospective registry, patients from 20 Dutch hospitals were included prior to Ra-223 treatment. Clinical parameters collected included previous treatments and Adverse Events. Primary outcome was 6 months Symptomatic Skeletal Event (SSE)-free survival, while secondary outcomes included Progression-Free Survival (PFS) and Overall Survival (OS). Of the 305 patients included, 300 were evaluable. The mean age was 73.6 years, 90% had ≥6 bone metastases and 74.1% were pretreated with Docetaxel, 19.5% with Cabazitaxe</pubmed_abstract><journal>International journal of cancer</journal><pagination>1143-1151</pagination><full_dataset_link>https://www.ebi.ac.uk/biostudies/studies/S-EPMC7383569</full_dataset_link><repository>biostudies-literature</repository><pubmed_title>A prospective observational registry evaluating clinical outcomes of Radium-223 treatment in a nonstudy population.</pubmed_title><pmcid>PMC7383569</pmcid><pubmed_authors>Coenen JLLM</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Vegt E</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Louhanepessy RD</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>van der Noort V</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Oostdijk A</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Loosveld OJL</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Bergman AM</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Hamberg P</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Celik F</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Haanen JB</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zwart W</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Wagenaar N</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zuetenhorst H</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Beeker A</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Lam MGEH</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Badrising SK</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>ROTOR investigators and the Dutch Uro-Oncology Study group (DUOS15101)</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>A prospective observational registry evaluating clinical outcomes of Radium-223 treatment in a nonstudy population.</name><description>The ALSYMPCA study established a 3.6 month Overall Survival (OS) benefit in metastatic Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC) patients treated with Radium-223 dichloride (Ra-223) over placebo.
