<HashMap><database>biostudies-literature</database><scores/><additional><omics_type>Unknown</omics_type><volume>6(1)</volume><submitter>Blackaller GN</submitter><pubmed_abstract>&lt;h4>Introduction&lt;/h4>Thyroid hormones can directly affect kidney function; elevated levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) are associated with proteinuria, decreased estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), and progression to end-stage renal disease.
