Power Doppler US was used for assessing blood volume at baseline, 1 week, 1 month, 6 months and 12 months post-surgery for assessing blood-flow dynamics at the implant and palatal donor sites. The speed-weighted and power-weighted colour pixel density (CPPD) were computed from colour velocity (CV) and colour power (CP), respectively.
Results
A mean increase in CV of 199.25% was observed at the midfacial region </pubmed_abstract><journal>Journal of clinical periodontology</journal><pubmed_title>Ultrasonographic tissue perfusion analysis at implant and palatal donor sites following soft tissue augmentation: A clinical pilot study.</pubmed_title><pmcid>PMC8058327</pmcid><funding_grant_id>UL1TR000433</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>UL1 TR000433</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>AWD004687</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>1R21DE027765–01A1</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>R21 DE027765</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>R21 DE029005</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>1R21DE029005‐01A1</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>AWD010089</funding_grant_id><pubmed_authors>Chan HL</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Wang HL</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Barootchi S</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Tavelli L</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Kripfgans OD</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Giannobile WV</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Majzoub J</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable>

Aim
To describe the application of power Doppler Ultrasonography (US) for evaluating blood flow at implant and palatal donor sites following soft tissue augmentation with the connective tissue graft (CTG).
Materials and methods
Five patients exhibiting a peri-implant soft tissue dehiscence received treatment with a coronally advanced flap and corresponding CTG.
