Simultaneous antegrade urography of the upper urinary tract and retrograde cystography of the transplanted kidneys were performed on the patients. With the use of computed tomography imaging results, surgical planning was carried out.
Results
All surgerie</pubmed_abstract><journal>Translational andrology and urology</journal><pagination>3620-3627</pagination><full_dataset_link>https://www.ebi.ac.uk/biostudies/studies/S-EPMC8511536</full_dataset_link><repository>biostudies-literature</repository><pubmed_title>Simultaneous antegrade urography of the upper urinary tract and retrograde cystography combined with computed tomography imaging in the management of ureteral complications after renal transplantation.</pubmed_title><pmcid>PMC8511536</pmcid><pubmed_authors>Lai X</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Li G</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Xu L</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Xiong Y</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Yin W</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Fang J</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Liu L</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Guo Y</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Chen Z</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Ma J</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zhang L</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable>

Background
To investigate the significance of simultaneous urography of the upper and lower urinary tract of transplanted kidneys combined with computed tomography urography (CTU), computed tomography arteriography (CTA), and computed tomography venography imaging in the planning of open surgery performed to treat any ureteral complications of a transplanted kidney.
Methods
In all, 24 patients with ureteral complications after renal transplantation were admitted, 12 of whom had renal graft ostomy during open surgery.
