The near-infrared luminescence of AuNR@Nd&lt;sub>2&lt;/sub>O&lt;sub>3&lt;/sub> is up to 4.6 times higher than that of Nd&lt;sub>2&lt;/sub>O&lt;sub>3&lt;/sub> hollow nanoparticles.
