However, the reliable biomarkers of post-LT HCC recurrence remain to be identified. In this study, serial peripheral blood samples from the LT recipients with and without HCC recurrence were collected at five time points. Single-cell mass cytomertry (CyTOF) was utilized for the in-depth analysis of peripheral blood monocellular cells (PBMCs). CyTOF analysis showed that at 3 weeks post-LT, the activated immune cell population was increased, while the fraction of immune cells with suppressive functions (myeloid-derived suppressive cells) was reduced. The post-LT immune composition in patients with LT for HCC was enormously different from that in patients with LT for causes other than </pubmed_abstract><journal>American journal of cancer research</journal><pagination>4160-4176</pagination><full_dataset_link>https://www.ebi.ac.uk/biostudies/studies/S-EPMC9548010</full_dataset_link><repository>biostudies-literature</repository><pubmed_title>Prediction of tumor recurrence by distinct immunoprofiles in liver transplant patients based on mass cytometry.</pubmed_title><pmcid>PMC9548010</pmcid><pubmed_authors>Xie W</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Yin W</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Li C</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Yang M</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zheng S</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Lu D</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Wei X</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Pan B</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zeng X</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Wang K</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Yang F</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Cen B</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Fan G</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Khan AR</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Su R</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Shu W</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Xie H</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Chen W</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Pan L</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zhuang L</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Xu X</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Prediction of tumor recurrence by distinct immunoprofiles in liver transplant patients based on mass cytometry.</name><description>Recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after liver transplantation (LT) is a marker of poor prognosis.
