During an exploration of the stem diseases on &lt;i>Acer truncatum&lt;/i> and &lt;i>Cotinus coggygria&lt;/i> in northern China, two novel species of &lt;i>Lasiodiplodia&lt;/i>, &lt;i>L. acerina&lt;/i> G.H. Qiao &amp; W.T. Qin and &lt;i>L. cotini&lt;/i> G.H. Qiao &amp; W.T.
