Out of 37 mitochondrial genes, except for <i>ND6</i> and eight tRNA (<i>Pro</i>, <i>Glu</i>, <i>Ser</i>, <i>Tyr</i>, <i>Cys</i>, <i>Asn</i>, <i>Ala</i>, <i>Gln</i>) genes were encoded on the L-strand, the others were encoded on the H-strand. The overall base composition includes A (28.0%), T (28.7%), G (16.7%), ad C (26.6%). The phylogenetic tree was built using the maximum-likelihood approach to provide a relationship within Chaetodontidae, which might be valuable for species management."],"journal":["Mitochondrial DNA.
