Here, to investigate pathological changes and molecular mechanisms of the mucosal immune response in the gills of crucian carp (&lt;i>Carassius auratus&lt;/i>) challenged by &lt;i>Aeromonas hydrophila&lt;/i>, the transcriptomics and proteomics were performed by using multi-omics analyses of RNA-seq coupled with iTRAQ techniques.
