The present work demonstrated a novel and effective electrochemical strategy for chloramphenicol (CAP) detection using carbon-doped hexagonal boron nitride (C-BN) as the sensing medium. The C-BN nanosheets were synthesized by a molten-salt method and fully characterized using various techniques. The electrochemical performances of C-BN nanosheets were studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
