In addition to the agronomic parameters, an analysis of the physicochemical, antioxidant, and metabolomic properties of the fruit was performed. The application of the inoculant affected several parameters of the plant (chlorophyll, weight, and contents of several mineral elements) as well as of the fruit (yield, maturity index, FRAP antioxidant capacity, and contents of protein, fiber, and fat). A multivariate analysis was performed by means of a PCA and a heatmap, indicating that the inoculant induced a strong modulating activity in tomatillo plants for the evaluated parameters, with a</pubmed_abstract><journal>Plants (Basel, Switzerland)</journal><full_dataset_link>https://www.ebi.ac.uk/biostudies/studies/S-EPMC9920258</full_dataset_link><repository>biostudies-literature</repository><pubmed_title>Combined Effect of the Potassium Dose and Plant Biofertilization by Acinetobacter calcoaceticus on the Growth, Mineral Content, Nutritional Quality, Antioxidant Activity, and Metabolomic Features of Tomatillo Fruits (Physalis ixocarpa Brot.)</pubmed_title><pmcid>PMC9920258</pmcid><funding_grant_id>270428</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>SIP20221254</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>SIP-20220649</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>SIP2016RE/50</funding_grant_id><pubmed_authors>Guerrero-Analco J</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Monribot-Villanueva J</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Calderon-Garcia C</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Morales I</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Escamirosa-Tinoco C</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Ramirez-Carino H</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Valadez-Blanco R</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Ochoa-Velasco C</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Gonzalez-Terreros E</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Combined Effect of the Potassium Dose and Plant Biofertilization by Acinetobacter calcoaceticus on the Growth, Mineral Content, Nutritional Quality, Antioxidant Activity, and Metabolomic Features of Tomatillo Fruits (Physalis ixocarpa Brot.)</name><description>An Acinetobacter calcoaceticus UTMR2 strain was evaluated in tomatillo plants (Physalis ixocarpa Brot.) using a factorial design with different potassium doses (100, 75, 50 and 0% of the recommended dose).
