Early tumor response was reported when patients showed complete or partial response at the time of their first follow-up (4-6 weeks) after initial treatment, in accordance with mRECIST. The endpoints consisted of conversion surgery rate, overall survival (OS), and progression-free survival (PFS).
Results
Early tumor response wa</pubmed_abstract><journal>Frontiers in oncology</journal><pagination>1110689</pagination><full_dataset_link>https://www.ebi.ac.uk/biostudies/studies/S-EPMC9923097</full_dataset_link><repository>biostudies-literature</repository><pubmed_title>Outcomes and prognostic factors in initially unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma treated using conversion therapy with lenvatinib and TACE plus PD-1 inhibitors.</pubmed_title><pmcid>PMC9923097</pmcid><pubmed_authors>Li X</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Bai T</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Tang Z</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Huang C</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Chen J</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Wei T</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Lu S</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Liu B</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Wang X</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zhang B</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Li L</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Wu F</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable>

Purpose
To evaluate the outcomes and prognostic factors for patients using conversion therapy with lenvatinib combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) plus programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1) inhibitors (LTP) for initially unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (iuHCC).
Methods
Data on 94 consecutive patients with iuHCC who received LTP conversion therapy from November 2019 to September 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.
