Kaplan-Meier analysis, calibration curves, the area under the curve (AUC) and the concordance index (C-index) evaluated the nomograms' performance. Decision curve analysis (DCA), integrated discrimination improvement (IDI) and net reclassification improvement (NRI) were used to compare the nomograms with the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging system.
Set</pubmed_abstract><journal>BMJ open</journal><pubmed_title>Development and validation of nomograms to predict survival in patients with invasive micropapillary carcinoma of the breast.</pubmed_title><pmcid>PMC9944677</pmcid><funding_grant_id>A2020516</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>2018A030313666</funding_grant_id><funding_grant_id>81872459</funding_grant_id><pubmed_authors>Huang Y</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zhang Z</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>He Z</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Sun JY</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Tang R</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Chi F</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Cheng Y</pubmed_authors><pubmed_authors>Zhang P</pubmed_authors></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable>

Objectives
The present study aimed to develop and validate nomograms to predict the survival of patients with breast invasive micropapillary carcinoma (IMPC) to aid objective decision-making.
Design
Prognostic factors were identified using Cox proportional hazards regression analyses and used to construct nomograms to predict overall survival (OS) and breast cancer-specific survival (BCSS) at 3 and 5 years.
