Exposure of <i>A. fumigatus</i> to <i>K. pneumoniae</i> culture filtrate reduced fungal growth and increased gliotoxin production. Qualitative proteomic analysis of the <i>K. pneumoniae</i> culture filtrate identified proteins associated with metal sequestering, enzymatic degradation and redox activity, which may impact fungal growth and development.
