Within half a year after cessation of curative therapy the Doppler perfusion index (measurements of blood flow in arteria hepatica and vena portae) is measured. In the following 2 years, patients are contacted every six months and asked about (liver) metastasis free survival and this is correlated with the DPI.
Primary outcome(s): This study investigates the association of DPI measured after surgery and (liver) metastasis free survival. The prognostic and predictive values of DPI in relation to the development of hepatic metastasis will be investigated.
