However, scalable, molecular tools to profile this process are currently missing, hampering efforts to translate these findings into clinical applications. Here, we leverage the advents of brain-region-specific transcriptomics as a readout of cellular deterioration accompanying the aging process. Profiling expression shifts in cortex (Cor), hippocampus (Hip) and Cerebellum (Ceb) we identify the region-specific responses to young plasma. This atlas of brain rejuvenation supports the identification of potential mediators of plasma-derived factors, and provides the basis for finding a minimal gene expression set - a signature - to sufficiently quantify brain rejuvenation.</description><dates><publication>2026/05/01</publication></dates><accession>GSE175693</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM5344251</GSM><GSM>GSM5344295</GSM><GSM>GSM5344294</GSM><GSM>GSM5344250</GSM><GSM>GSM5344293</GSM><GSM>GSM5344292</GSM><GSM>GSM5344291</GSM><GSM>GSM5344290</GSM><GSM>GSM5344259</GSM><GSM>GSM5344258</GSM><GSM>GSM5344257</GSM><GSM>GSM5344256</GSM><GSM>GSM5344255</GSM><GSM>GSM5344299</GSM><GSM>GSM5344254</GSM><GSM>GSM5344298</GSM><GSM>GSM5344297</GSM><GSM>GSM5344253</GSM><GSM>GSM5344252</GSM><GSM>GSM5344296</GSM><GSM>GSM5344240</GSM><GSM>GSM5344284</GSM><GSM>GSM5344283</GSM><GSM>GSM5344282</GSM><GSM>GSM5344281</GSM><GSM>GSM5344280</GSM><GSM>GSM5344249</GSM><GSM>GSM5344248</GSM><GSM>GSM5344247</GSM><GSM>GSM5344246</GSM><GSM>GSM5344245</GSM><GSM>GSM5344289</GSM><GSM>GSM5344288</GSM><GSM>GSM5344244</GSM><GSM>GSM5344243</GSM><GSM>GSM5344287</GSM><GSM>GSM5344242</GSM><GSM>GSM5344286</GSM><GSM>GSM5344285</GSM><GSM>GSM5344241</GSM><GSM>GSM5344273</GSM><GSM>GSM5344272</GSM><GSM>GSM5344271</GSM><GSM>GSM5344270</GSM><GSM>GSM5344319</GSM><GSM>GSM5344318</GSM><GSM>GSM5344317</GSM><GSM>GSM5344239</GSM><GSM>GSM5344316</GSM><GSM>GSM5344238</GSM><GSM>GSM5344315</GSM><GSM>GSM5344314</GSM><GSM>GSM5344237</GSM><GSM>GSM5344236</GSM><GSM>GSM5344313</GSM><GSM>GSM5344312</GSM><GSM>GSM5344235</GSM><GSM>GSM5344279</GSM><GSM>GSM5344311</GSM><GSM>GSM5344234</GSM><GSM>GSM5344278</GSM><GSM>GSM5344277</GSM><GSM>GSM5344233</GSM><GSM>GSM5344310</GSM><GSM>GSM5344232</GSM><GSM>GSM5344276</GSM><GSM>GSM5344231</GSM><GSM>GSM5344275</GSM><GSM>GSM5344274</GSM><GSM>GSM5344230</GSM><GSM>GSM5344262</GSM><GSM>GSM5344261</GSM><GSM>GSM5344260</GSM><GSM>GSM5344309</GSM><GSM>GSM5344308</GSM><GSM>GSM5344307</GSM><GSM>GSM5344306</GSM><GSM>GSM5344229</GSM><GSM>GSM5344228</GSM><GSM>GSM5344305</GSM><GSM>GSM5344304</GSM><GSM>GSM5344227</GSM><GSM>GSM5344226</GSM><GSM>GSM5344303</GSM><GSM>GSM5344302</GSM><GSM>GSM5344225</GSM><GSM>GSM5344269</GSM><GSM>GSM5344268</GSM><GSM>GSM5344301</GSM><GSM>GSM5344224</GSM><GSM>GSM5344300</GSM><GSM>GSM5344267</GSM><GSM>GSM5344266</GSM><GSM>GSM5344265</GSM><GSM>GSM5344264</GSM><GSM>GSM5344263</GSM><GPL>24247</GPL><SRA>SRP321664</SRA><GSE>175693</GSE><taxon>Mus musculus</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
