We performed whole-transcriptome gene expression analysis to investigate the molecular mechanisms underpinning the effects on placental health after prenatal exposure to two different PFAS, perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and its replacement, hexafluoropropylene oxide-dimer acid (HFPO-DA, commonly referred to as GenX).
