When adult C. elegans were fed C. acnes strains, the lifespan of the animals fed pathogenic C. acnes strain (e.g. HM-122) was significantly shorter than that of animals fed OP50 (control). In contrast, the lifespan of the animals fed commensal C. acnes strain (e.g. HM-555) was not significantly different from that of animals in the control group.</description><dates><publication>2026/09/21</publication></dates><accession>GSE262683</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM8173734</GSM><GSM>GSM8173735</GSM><GSM>GSM8173733</GSM><GSM>GSM8173738</GSM><GSM>GSM8173739</GSM><GSM>GSM8173736</GSM><GSM>GSM8173737</GSM><GSM>GSM8173740</GSM><GPL>22765</GPL><GSE>262683</GSE><taxon>Caenorhabditis elegans</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
