RNAseq results showed that day 1 macrophages segregated from day 4 and 7 macrophages, and that on days 4 and 7 macrophages segregated primarily based on F4/80-low versus F4/80-high phenotype. TNF and IL-4 pathways converge in F4/80-low macrophages at 4 days after skin wound healing, these F4/80-low macrophages express inflammatory, MHC class II and a subset of IL-4 target genes. Footprinting analysis on ATAC-seq data revealed enrichement of both NFKB1 and STAT6 in F4/80-low macrophages at 4 dp, whereas the overall differences in transcription factor binding between F4/80-high and F4/80-low macrophages diminished by 7 dpi.</description><dates><publication>2026/09/02</publication></dates><accession>GSE287605</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM8748814</GSM><GSM>GSM8748813</GSM><GSM>GSM8748812</GSM><GSM>GSM8748811</GSM><GSM>GSM8748833</GSM><GSM>GSM8748832</GSM><GSM>GSM8748810</GSM><GSM>GSM8748831</GSM><GSM>GSM8748830</GSM><GSM>GSM8748819</GSM><GSM>GSM8748818</GSM><GSM>GSM8748817</GSM><GSM>GSM8748816</GSM><GSM>GSM8748815</GSM><GSM>GSM8748825</GSM><GSM>GSM8748824</GSM><GSM>GSM8748823</GSM><GSM>GSM8748822</GSM><GSM>GSM8748821</GSM><GSM>GSM8748820</GSM><GSM>GSM8748809</GSM><GSM>GSM8748808</GSM><GSM>GSM8748807</GSM><GSM>GSM8748829</GSM><GSM>GSM8748828</GSM><GSM>GSM8748806</GSM><GSM>GSM8748805</GSM><GSM>GSM8748827</GSM><GSM>GSM8748804</GSM><GSM>GSM8748826</GSM><GPL>34290</GPL><GSE>287605</GSE><taxon>Mus musculus</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
