To this end, the aged male flies showing sleep fragmentation was sampled to compare with those without showing sleep fragmentation. Using an optimized data analysis workflow, we mapped about 0.2-0.6 million reads to Drosophila reference genome, dm6. The genes showing significant difference were found in most between naive group and shocked group showing medium avoidance from a confined space. Our study demonstrated differentially expressed genes in aged flies showing sleep fragmentation.","dates":{"publication":"2026/04/20"},"accession":"GSE294309","cross_references":{"GSM":["GSM8902210","GSM8902199","GSM8902212","GSM8902211","GSM8902218","GSM8902217","GSM8902219","GSM8902214","GSM8902213","GSM8902216","GSM8902215","GSM8902221","GSM8902220","GSM8902201","GSM8902223","GSM8902222","GSM8902200","GSM8902207","GSM8902228","GSM8902206","GSM8902209","GSM8902208","GSM8902225","GSM8902203","GSM8902224","GSM8902202","GSM8902227","GSM8902205","GSM8902204","GSM8902226"],"GPL":["23702"],"GSE":["294309"],"taxon":["Drosophila melanogaster"]}}
