Here, we investigate the early transcriptional impact of distinct KRAS mutants in a non-cancerous pancreatic epithelial context. Using RNA-seq, we profiled HPNE cells engineered with inducible KRAS variants (G12D, G12V, G12R, Q61H, Q61K, Q61R) compared to wild-type KRAS (WT) following 24-hour induction. This comparative analysis reveals that KRAS mutations differentially regulate immune and extracellular matrix remodeling pathways, with G12D and Q61R/H mutants driving pro-inflammatory signaling, while G12R and Q61k exhibits distinct transcriptional suppression. These findings highlight the mutation-specific transcriptional landscapes of KRAS in pancreatic epithelial cells and provide insight into the early events shaping the pancreatic tumor microenvironment.","dates":{"publication":"2026/05/12"},"accession":"GSE295683","cross_references":{"GSM":["GSM8955065","GSM8955064","GSM8955100","GSM8955067","GSM8955066","GSM8955061","GSM8955060","GSM8955063","GSM8955062","GSM8955109","GSM8955106","GSM8955105","GSM8955108","GSM8955107","GSM8955069","GSM8955102","GSM8955101","GSM8955068","GSM8955104","GSM8955103","GSM8955098","GSM8955097","GSM8955056","GSM8955099","GSM8955094","GSM8955093","GSM8955096","GSM8955095","GSM8955090","GSM8955092","GSM8955091","GSM8955058","GSM8955057","GSM8955059","GSM8955120","GSM8955087","GSM8955086","GSM8955089","GSM8955121","GSM8955088","GSM8955083","GSM8955082","GSM8955085","GSM8955084","GSM8955081","GSM8955080","GSM8955076","GSM8955075","GSM8955078","GSM8955111","GSM8955077","GSM8955110","GSM8955072","GSM8955071","GSM8955074","GSM8955073","GSM8955070","GSM8955117","GSM8955116","GSM8955119","GSM8955118","GSM8955113","GSM8955112","GSM8955079","GSM8955115","GSM8955114"],"GPL":["24676"],"GSE":["295683"],"taxon":["Homo sapiens"],"PMID":["[41892368]"]}}
