The architectural protein CTCF plays diverse roles in this process. Here, we demonstrate that a subset of gene promoters alters their chromatin accessibility profiles upon CTCF binding during differentiation of the chicken erythroblast cell line HD3. Furthermore, we show that CTCF contributes to establishing a specific 3D chromatin architecture in the α-globin multigenic domain prior to differentiation in HD3 cells.</description><dates><publication>2026/04/29</publication></dates><accession>GSE296376</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM8969387</GSM><GSM>GSM8969386</GSM><GSM>GSM8969389</GSM><GSM>GSM8969388</GSM><GSM>GSM8969383</GSM><GSM>GSM8969385</GSM><GSM>GSM8969384</GSM><GSM>GSM8969390</GSM><GPL>19005</GPL><GSE>296376</GSE><taxon>Gallus gallus</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
