Through RNA sequencing combined with temporal transcriptomic analysis of brain/lung tissues from rat models of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO, 0-2 hours) and reperfusion (12h, 1d, 3d, 5d) to explore signaling mechanisms, we discovered biphasic pulmonary pathology. This process initiates with acute interleukin-1β (IL-1β)-mediated inflammation, progressing to sustained metabolic-inflammatory cascades governed by hypoxia-inducible factor 3α (HIF-3α) and ATP-binding cassette sub-family A member 6 (ABCA6).
