A majority of meningiomas have a relatively benign clinical course. However, even benign meningiomas can manifest with focal neurological symptoms or mass effect depending on the size and location of the tumor. Current standard of care for symptomatic tumors remains maximal safe surgical resection followed by radiological surveillance, with additional radiation therapy for high-grade tumors or tumors where complete resection is not feasible. To date, there is limited evidence demonstrating definitive efficacy of systemic therapies for meningiomas. Here, we perform full-transcriptome spot-resolution spatial transcriptomics using the 10X Visium platform on 19 low-grade meningiomas. We use bulk methylation profiling to classify these meningiomas into three previously described methylation classes corresponding to the Merlin-intact, immune-enriched, and hypermitotic molecular phenotypes.</description><dates><publication>2026/05/31</publication></dates><accession>GSE299027</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM9031088</GSM><GSM>GSM9031099</GSM><GSM>GSM9031100</GSM><GSM>GSM9031089</GSM><GSM>GSM9031097</GSM><GSM>GSM9031086</GSM><GSM>GSM9031098</GSM><GSM>GSM9031087</GSM><GSM>GSM9031091</GSM><GSM>GSM9031092</GSM><GSM>GSM9031090</GSM><GSM>GSM9031095</GSM><GSM>GSM9031084</GSM><GSM>GSM9031085</GSM><GSM>GSM9031096</GSM><GSM>GSM9031082</GSM><GSM>GSM9031093</GSM><GSM>GSM9031094</GSM><GSM>GSM9031083</GSM><GPL>24676</GPL><GSE>299027</GSE><taxon>Homo sapiens</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
