Early diagnosis is critical for improving survival outcomes. Current clinical diagnostic methods present significant limitations. This study aimed to identify potential non-invasive biomarkers through epigenomic analysis of the DNA methylome in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from ESCC patients. Using the Infinium MethylationEPIC (935K) array, we profiled genome-wide DNA methylation patterns in PBMCs from 42 ESCC patients and 30 controls. We discovered an episignature of 742 differentially methylated CpGs (DMCs) that effectively discriminates ESCC patients from controls.</description><dates><publication>2026/09/25</publication></dates><accession>GSE302955</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM9114671</GSM><GSM>GSM9114672</GSM><GSM>GSM9114673</GSM><GSM>GSM9114674</GSM><GSM>GSM9114670</GSM><GSM>GSM9114679</GSM><GSM>GSM9114712</GSM><GSM>GSM9114713</GSM><GSM>GSM9114714</GSM><GSM>GSM9114715</GSM><GSM>GSM9114675</GSM><GSM>GSM9114676</GSM><GSM>GSM9114710</GSM><GSM>GSM9114677</GSM><GSM>GSM9114711</GSM><GSM>GSM9114678</GSM><GSM>GSM9114709</GSM><GSM>GSM9114705</GSM><GSM>GSM9114706</GSM><GSM>GSM9114707</GSM><GSM>GSM9114708</GSM><GSM>GSM9114660</GSM><GSM>GSM9114661</GSM><GSM>GSM9114662</GSM><GSM>GSM9114663</GSM><GSM>GSM9114668</GSM><GSM>GSM9114701</GSM><GSM>GSM9114702</GSM><GSM>GSM9114669</GSM><GSM>GSM9114703</GSM><GSM>GSM9114704</GSM><GSM>GSM9114664</GSM><GSM>GSM9114665</GSM><GSM>GSM9114666</GSM><GSM>GSM9114667</GSM><GSM>GSM9114700</GSM><GSM>GSM9114693</GSM><GSM>GSM9114694</GSM><GSM>GSM9114695</GSM><GSM>GSM9114696</GSM><GSM>GSM9114690</GSM><GSM>GSM9114691</GSM><GSM>GSM9114692</GSM><GSM>GSM9114730</GSM><GSM>GSM9114697</GSM><GSM>GSM9114731</GSM><GSM>GSM9114698</GSM><GSM>GSM9114699</GSM><GSM>GSM9114727</GSM><GSM>GSM9114728</GSM><GSM>GSM9114729</GSM><GSM>GSM9114682</GSM><GSM>GSM9114683</GSM><GSM>GSM9114684</GSM><GSM>GSM9114685</GSM><GSM>GSM9114680</GSM><GSM>GSM9114681</GSM><GSM>GSM9114723</GSM><GSM>GSM9114724</GSM><GSM>GSM9114725</GSM><GSM>GSM9114726</GSM><GSM>GSM9114686</GSM><GSM>GSM9114687</GSM><GSM>GSM9114720</GSM><GSM>GSM9114688</GSM><GSM>GSM9114721</GSM><GSM>GSM9114722</GSM><GSM>GSM9114689</GSM><GSM>GSM9114716</GSM><GSM>GSM9114717</GSM><GSM>GSM9114718</GSM><GSM>GSM9114719</GSM><GPL>33022</GPL><GSE>302955</GSE><taxon>Homo sapiens</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
