Using transcriptomic profiling of postmortem human AD brain tissue, we identified a sex-specific enrichment of interferon-alpha (IFN-α) signaling pathways in females. This immune signature was recapitulated in APP/PS1 transgenic mouse models, where female mice exhibited greater amyloid pathology, neuroinflammation, and neurodegeneration compared to males.</description><dates><publication>2026/05/12</publication></dates><accession>GSE304521</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM9453419</GSM><GSM>GSM9453417</GSM><GSM>GSM9152029</GSM><GSM>GSM9453418</GSM><GSM>GSM9152028</GSM><GSM>GSM9152034</GSM><GSM>GSM9152033</GSM><GSM>GSM9453420</GSM><GSM>GSM9152032</GSM><GSM>GSM9152031</GSM><GSM>GSM9453421</GSM><GSM>GSM9152038</GSM><GSM>GSM9152037</GSM><GSM>GSM9152036</GSM><GSM>GSM9152035</GSM><GSM>GSM9152030</GSM><GSM>GSM9152019</GSM><GSM>GSM9152018</GSM><GSM>GSM9152017</GSM><GSM>GSM9152023</GSM><GSM>GSM9152022</GSM><GSM>GSM9152021</GSM><GSM>GSM9152020</GSM><GSM>GSM9152027</GSM><GSM>GSM9152026</GSM><GSM>GSM9152025</GSM><GSM>GSM9152024</GSM><GSM>GSM9152061</GSM><GSM>GSM9152060</GSM><GSM>GSM9151998</GSM><GSM>GSM9152009</GSM><GSM>GSM9152008</GSM><GSM>GSM9152007</GSM><GSM>GSM9152006</GSM><GSM>GSM9151999</GSM><GSM>GSM9152012</GSM><GSM>GSM9152056</GSM><GSM>GSM9152055</GSM><GSM>GSM9152011</GSM><GSM>GSM9152010</GSM><GSM>GSM9152054</GSM><GSM>GSM9152053</GSM><GSM>GSM9152016</GSM><GSM>GSM9453404</GSM><GSM>GSM9152015</GSM><GSM>GSM9152059</GSM><GSM>GSM9453405</GSM><GSM>GSM9152058</GSM><GSM>GSM9152014</GSM><GSM>GSM9152013</GSM><GSM>GSM9152057</GSM><GSM>GSM9152052</GSM><GSM>GSM9152051</GSM><GSM>GSM9152050</GSM><GSM>GSM9453408</GSM><GSM>GSM9453409</GSM><GSM>GSM9453406</GSM><GSM>GSM9152039</GSM><GSM>GSM9453407</GSM><GSM>GSM9152001</GSM><GSM>GSM9453411</GSM><GSM>GSM9152045</GSM><GSM>GSM9152044</GSM><GSM>GSM9453412</GSM><GSM>GSM9152000</GSM><GSM>GSM9152043</GSM><GSM>GSM9453410</GSM><GSM>GSM9152042</GSM><GSM>GSM9453415</GSM><GSM>GSM9152005</GSM><GSM>GSM9152049</GSM><GSM>GSM9152004</GSM><GSM>GSM9152048</GSM><GSM>GSM9453416</GSM><GSM>GSM9152047</GSM><GSM>GSM9453413</GSM><GSM>GSM9152003</GSM><GSM>GSM9453414</GSM><GSM>GSM9152002</GSM><GSM>GSM9152046</GSM><GSM>GSM9152041</GSM><GSM>GSM9152040</GSM><GPL>24247</GPL><GSE>304521</GSE><taxon>Mus musculus</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
