Significant changes in gene expression were observed at 3 hours, 3 days, and 14 days after MMC treatment, with 322, 4,231, and 5,095 genes significantly altered compared to controls, respectively. Enrichment analysis revealed a notable upregulation of genes involved in apoptosis and the p53 pathway, as well as a significant downregulation of genes associated with cell proliferation such as those involved in the G2M checkpoint and E2F targets. Furthermore, the expression of genes related to the senescence-associated secretory phenotype, including FGF2, CCL2, and CCL7, was also increased, suggesting that MMC induces cellular senescence in HConFs as indicated by RNA-Seq analysis.</description><dates><publication>2026/08/26</publication></dates><accession>GSE306051</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM9192127</GSM><GSM>GSM9192128</GSM><GSM>GSM9192118</GSM><GSM>GSM9192129</GSM><GSM>GSM9192119</GSM><GSM>GSM9192123</GSM><GSM>GSM9192124</GSM><GSM>GSM9192125</GSM><GSM>GSM9192126</GSM><GSM>GSM9192120</GSM><GSM>GSM9192121</GSM><GSM>GSM9192122</GSM><GPL>18573</GPL><GSE>306051</GSE><taxon>Homo sapiens</taxon><PMID>[42625400]</PMID></cross_references></HashMap>
