Although IRF4::IGH translocations are demonstrable in most tumors, cryptic rearrangements have been suggested. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) studies have identified a distinct mutational landscape. Whether large B-cell lymphomas (LBCL) harboring IRF4 rearrangements in adults represent the same biological entity remains uncertain.
