We profiled transcriptomic responses in JEG-3 trophoblast-like cells and primary human decidual macrophages treated with melatonin at different doses. Cells were exposed to vehicle, 1 nM, or 1000 nM melatonin under defined inflammatory conditions. RNA-seq libraries were prepared using a strand-specific poly(A)-selected protocol and sequenced on a BGISEQ platform. Differential expression and pathway analyses focused on inflammasome and NRF2-related pathways. These data support a role for melatonin in modulating redox–inflammatory balance in placenta-relevant cell types.</description><dates><publication>2026/06/03</publication></dates><accession>GSE313629</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM9371181</GSM><GSM>GSM9371180</GSM><GSM>GSM9371183</GSM><GSM>GSM9371182</GSM><GSM>GSM9371163</GSM><GSM>GSM9371185</GSM><GSM>GSM9371162</GSM><GSM>GSM9371184</GSM><GSM>GSM9371165</GSM><GSM>GSM9371187</GSM><GSM>GSM9371186</GSM><GSM>GSM9371164</GSM><GSM>GSM9371167</GSM><GSM>GSM9371189</GSM><GSM>GSM9371166</GSM><GSM>GSM9371188</GSM><GSM>GSM9371169</GSM><GSM>GSM9371168</GSM><GSM>GSM9371190</GSM><GSM>GSM9371170</GSM><GSM>GSM9371192</GSM><GSM>GSM9371191</GSM><GSM>GSM9371194</GSM><GSM>GSM9371172</GSM><GSM>GSM9371171</GSM><GSM>GSM9371193</GSM><GSM>GSM9371174</GSM><GSM>GSM9371196</GSM><GSM>GSM9371173</GSM><GSM>GSM9371195</GSM><GSM>GSM9371176</GSM><GSM>GSM9371197</GSM><GSM>GSM9371175</GSM><GSM>GSM9371178</GSM><GSM>GSM9371177</GSM><GSM>GSM9371179</GSM><GPL>23227</GPL><GSE>313629</GSE><taxon>Homo sapiens</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
