We combined cryogenic electron microscopy with chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP-CryoEM) to determine the structures of human CENP-A nucleosomes isolated directly from cells. Sequencing analysis of the CENP-A nucleosome samples revealed that, upon CENP-A overexpression, CENP-A nucleosomes are enriched on centromeric α-satellite DNA and are also ectopically distributed along chromosome arms.","dates":{"publication":"2026/08/28"},"accession":"GSE315822","cross_references":{"GSM":["GSM9437933","GSM9437934"],"GPL":["22790","24676"],"GSE":["315822"],"taxon":["Homo sapiens"]}}
